Downtown Philly Engagement Session

To say I am a true romantic is an understatement. I’m always down for a good love story, and Rajanee and Brandon have just that! It was an honor capturing their downtown Philly engagement session, and I am so thankful that Rajanee reached out to book their shoot immediately after the proposal!

Highschool Sweethearts

Rajanee and Brandon’s love story is what fairytales are made of. They met while in 8th grade. In 2014, Brandon asked Rajanee to be his girlfriend, and in 2015, he asked her to go to prom with him. Fast forward eight incredible years, and on June 6th, 2022, he asked her to marry him.

As a dog lover, you can imagine my excitement when Rajanee and Brandon shared that they wanted to include their two pups in their session! Rosie and Benji, their quirky but oh-so-sweet pups, were the perfect addition to this fun photoshoot.

Downtown Philly Engagement Photo Locations

For Rajanee and Brandon’s downtown Philly engagement session, they chose three locations with one outfit change. We started the session at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, where they took their prom photos in 2015. Then, we headed to the nearby ever-so-popular Philidelphia wedding venue, Water Works by Cescaphe. We arrived at the gazebo just in time for sunset, and I captured the most gorgeous, glowy light during their sunset portraits. I love when my couples choose locations with personal and special meanings! It was so romantic heading back to the spot where they took their prom photos years ago.

At dusk, Rajanee and Brandon changed from their sweet, casual daytime looks into stylish, chic evening outfits. We then headed to a rooftop overlooking Center City and the Philadelphia City Hall. It was the perfect location to wrap up their downtown Philly engagement session.

Being able to capture these two best friends was such a blast! You could truly sense their love and incredible chemistry for each other.
